PREVIEW SILMO 2025

Immagine 98 eye glasses
IMMAGINE98 ENCHANTS SILMO PARIS WITH AN EYEWEAR COLLECTION DEFINED BY LAYERING, COLOR, AND STYLE

The Cadore-based company presents a selection of optical frames that serve as a bold statement of intent: with material overlays, unexpected textures, and couture-level details, autumn ignites with glamour.

On the occasion of Silmo Paris, Immagine98 unveils a collection that surprises with its design research, personality, and sartorial approach. Eyewear takes center stage in an aesthetic narrative that plays with contrasts, layering, and unexpected combinations—a true chromatic and material stratification that brings visual depth and a unique identity to each model.

Much like in perfumery—where layering allows fragrances to blend into custom creations—Immagine98 explores stratification as a creative language. Materials, colors, textures, and volumes overlap to shape bold, distinctive frames. On one side, the sleek, assertive minimalism of masculine lines; on the other, the opulent, couture-inspired femininity of sculpted silhouettes. Each brand in the Immagine98 portfolio embraces this philosophy with its own unique voice.

At Silmo, eyewear becomes emotion, style, and inspiration.
HERE’S A PREVIEW OF THE MODELS MAKING THEIR DEBUT AT SILMO!

AURA by Rye&Lye
– Immagine98’s luxury brand is a conceptual synthesis of past and future, where design, excellence, and Italian craftsmanship meet. AURA features a bold, sculpted silhouette in tortoiseshell acetate layered with transparent lilac and accented by a golden insert that outlines its contours. Sharp angles and substantial volumes lend depth and character to a frame of contemporary elegance.
X-Ide – The most eclectic and imaginative brand in the Immagine98 galaxy presents models rich in contrast, color, and pattern. Among them, VENUS stands out for its subtly elongated butterfly shape, enhanced by a graphic interplay of tortoiseshell and sky blue. A statement accessory that celebrates individuality with artistic flair.
Also from X-Ide, LYRA plays with unconventional geometries, layered hues, and graphic motifs, striking a perfect balance between conceptual design and everyday wearability.
A cyberpunk-inspired model couldn’t be missing: X-Ide New Generation—a collection for those who embrace challenges, even in their style choices. Enter Isla, a name that evokes journeys and adventures across real and imaginary realms. Its elongated cat-eye shape pairs with houndstooth-patterned acetate, illuminated by vibrant purple touches on the front and enhanced by an iconic double bridge.
Mic Made in Cadore – The Marmarole model, named after the Cadore Mountain range, blends style and personality in two striking colorways. The first, in black and zebra bicolor, creates a bold optical effect—magnetic and contemporary. The second, in streaked brown and transparent purple, channels nature and reverie—perfect for those seeking a poetic, emotionally resonant frame. Two souls: one graphic and urban, the other romantic and boundless.

From I-Man, Immagine98’s masculine brand, comes FURIO, a teardrop-shaped frame that reinterprets a timeless classic with a modern edge. Crafted from solid acetate, it’s a refined essential that draws on tradition while embracing reinvention—designed for men who stand out through understated elegance.

ULTRA LIMITED TO PRESENT

NEW LIGHTWEIGHT DESIGNS AT SILMO PARIS 2025

Hall 7,
Booth G198

Refined selection of thin optical frames with expressive colours and essential lines

Ultra Limited returns to SILMO Paris with a new creative direction that places lightness at the centre of its design language. The new optical collection explores this concept in every aspect: visual, structural and material. Through refined volumes, essential lines and carefully layered transparencies, the brand offers a renewed expression of its bold, colour-driven identity—now more subtle, wearable and contemporary than ever.

The collection includes a wide range of silhouettes, each conceived to enhance individual features and personality. Feminine shapes take on renewed softness in the butterfly-inspired model FAENZA, where delicately curved lines and luminous acetate create an elegant interplay of light and colour. These are joined by the more graphic and expressive model NORCIA, which reinterprets the butterfly silhouette with stronger geometry and a refined edge.

Men’s frames evolve through the introduction of bold yet balanced double-bridge constructions. Model FUCECCHIO combines structural definition with visual lightness, offering a confident presence without excess weight or volume. Unisex designs expand the offering with the squared shapes, model CORVARA and its stylistic counterpart, model SPOLETO. These frames are clean, versatile and enhanced by precise chromatic layering.

Completing the collection is model ISERNIA, a cat-eye design which bring a touch of retro inspiration reinterpreted through minimal lines and thoughtful colour harmonies.

As always, every frame is entirely handcrafted in Italy. Ultra Limited’s meticulous process includes manual assembly, precision cutting and multi-layer lamination techniques that treat acetate not simply as a material, but as a surface for expression. Transparent overlays, subtle patterns and vibrant contrasts give each model a dynamic, almost sculptural quality—making no two frames exactly alike.

The official launch of the new collection will take place at SILMO Paris, from 26th to 29th  September 2025 (Hall 7, booth G198). The brand’s stand will offer a dedicated experience, showcasing not only the new frames but also the philosophy, colours and craftsmanship that define Ultra Limited’s unique creative approach.

In the lead-up to SILMO, Ultra Limited will also take part in the BOLD Optical Fair in the Netherlands (7th to 8th  September) and DaTE Eyewear in Riccione (13th to 15th  September), confirming its presence at events dedicated to eyewear culture and continuing its dialogue with professionals and retailers in the independent scene. In October, the brand will also participate in EXPO Ottica Sud in Taormina (11th to 13th October) and in November, will attend the CircumEye fair in Athens (22nd to 23rd November), further reinforcing its connection with the Italian optical market.

OFFICE HOURS

PREVIEW S/S 2026

HALL 7 STAND C39

LINDA FARROW steps into Spring/Summer 2026 with Office Hours, a collection charged with the energy of London’s high-rise power players. Inspired by the women who command the boardroom by day and the city by night, the collection fuses sleek architecture with unapologetic glamour.

Frames become statements: Macy and Susie’s new Vista Temple sculpts strength and lightness through negative space, while Jessica subverts minimalism with glossy oversized lenses and bold hardware. Colour stories shift from the molten warmth of Caramel Confidential to the polished femininity of Boardroom Blush, evoking golden-hour light and 70s executive poise.

Details define the season. The Eyelet Hinge wraps in arcs of hand-finished gold; Aviators are crowned with engine-turned hardware; and to counterbalance the drama sleek frames pare back to delicate silhouettes whispering modern luxury.

Office Hours is more than eyewear—it’s a wardrobe of power, polish, and provocation for those who dominate the skyline and live without compromise.

MEI AT SILMO 2025

HALL 6 BOOTH M 205

MEI is excited to announce its participation in SILMO 2025. MEI will showcase its innovative solutions designed to enhance the efficiency and precision of optical manufacturing. Visitors will also be able to see live demonstrations of the EasyFit Trend and EasyBuddy machines.

EasyFit Trend evolves with the new Smart Facets function – The solution for the latest eyewear trend.

MEI, a lens edging machine innovation leader, presents the new Smart Facets function for its EasyFit Trend edger. This polished decorative element for rimless ophthalmic lenses, which can be present on both the front and back of the lens, is similar to a large, inclined bevel. It allows optical centers and small labs to create glasses that meet their customers’ needs perfectly.

Smart Facets represents the fastest and most reliable solution on the market, eliminating the risk of asymmetry between the right and left lenses. Thanks to the intuitive EyeGOAL interface and the new configuration of the tools, it is possible to fully customize the lenses on both the front and back, with variable dimensions and inclinations, including polishing. Additionally, the processing is directly integrated into the lens edging cycle.

The Smart Facets function represents another step forward for the revolutionary EasyFit Trend, which stands out from competitors due to its innovative features, including:

  • Precision and reliability of milling technology.
  • Dry cut, without water, saves 1 million liters of water each year.
  • No block system that avoids the use of blocks and adhesives.
  • Total Quality Control system that, thanks to integrated inspection tools, ensures automatic and precise measurement of all optical parameters.
  • Creativity Engraving function allows logos, designs, and writings to be marked on the lens.
  • Ability to easily edge corrective lenses for sports and safety glasses.

The Smart Facets function is also available as an upgrade for EasyFit Trend MAX, allowing opticians and labs to meet all their customers’ requests while maintaining maximum productivity.

Discover more about how MEI is transforming the work of optical centers with its innovative solutions: Glasses lens cutting machine – EasyFit Trend

EasyBuddy consists of an innovative robotic arm that feeds the EasyFit Trend lens edger, increasing independence from manual interventions and enhancing productivity.

EasyFit Trend will be presented with its new Smart Facets feature. It is the quickest and most reliable solution on the market, with no risks of incorrect or asymmetrical results between the left and right lenses. Thanks to the user-friendly EYEGoal interface and the new tool setup, it is possible to fully customize lenses on the front and back, with variable size and inclination, polishing included. Additionally, the processing is directly integrated into the lens edging cycle.

MEI will also showcase two groundbreaking products that were recently launched at MIDO: the 4D Trace and the SurfXM Stand.

4D Trace is an ALL-IN-ONE device that integrates a commercial tracer with the MEI Flawless Gauge profile-matching device, a barcode scanner, and a screen that shows the tracing results. It dramatically improves the fitting rate of all frames in which the bevel profile and the frame groove profile do not match perfectly.

SurfXM Stand is the new compact, semi-automatic device developed by MEI to ensure quick and effective quality control of the lens surface. This new solution avoids the need for a skilled operator to control every lens, round or edged, at the end of the production processes (after surfacing, coating, or edging), ensuring your customers receive perfect lenses with the quality they deserve.

NEW LAUNCH: THE AYRA COLLECTION

a soft bloom of light and minimalistic form

NYHAVN by Ørgreen Optics launches in Paris at SILMO

HALL 7 | BOOTH C088

ØRGREEN OPTICS :PRESENTS NYHAVN: A NEW STAINLESS STEEL COLLECTION

Copenhagen, Denmark – Ørgreen has always been defined by colour: palettes and combinations that don’t follow trends, but set moods. With NYHAVN, the brand takes a new step in this direction with a first capsule of ten stainless steel designs, each presented in a variety of unique, un interrupted hues. While Ørgreen is best known for titanium, NYHAVN carries the same values of precision and craftsmanship into stainless steel, with a younger feel.

“NYHAVN represents what we believe a contemporary eyewear concept should be. No nonsense, timeless and accessible shapes, an innovative hinge, and a simple yet strong colour story. Creating these frames felt completely natural and wearing them will feel the same.”
Martin Guentert — Head of Design
TECHNOLOGY IN ITS PUREST STATE
NYHAVN’s architecture is clean, precise, and refreshingly direct. Temples taper from 3 mm down to just 0.6 mm, a study in balance and proportion. Here the new engineered flex hinge remains almost invisible, yet works tirelessly to ensure lasting comfort while protecting the frame from overstretching. A statement of continuous innovation from Ørgreen.
COLOUR THAT BELONGS
Each design carries a different colour for front through to temple tip, with silicone and paint seamlessly fused into a single hue. The resultis shapes that radiate bold, nuanced tones onthe face.
FUNCTIONALITY GUARANTEES FIT
Because no two faces are the same, NYHAVN is built for adaptability. An integrated pad arm and rim lock unit provides precise adjustability, while five nose pad sizes guarantee a tailored fit.
HIGHLIGHTS OF THE COLLECTION
FJORD LINE – A sleek expression of NYHAVN’s stainless steel language, featuring the new 2 mm hinge with distinct open and closed positions and a smooth flex for enduring wear. A discreetly integrated rim lock within the pad arm ensures an uninterrupted silhouette. At the same time, hidden notches in the silicone temple end allow opticians to shorten the temple tip for a perfect fit.
STORM SIGNAL – The purest interpretation of the hinge concept, with an ultra-slim 0.6 mm horizontal sheet steel temple, the thinnest side profile possible, balanced with Ørgreen’s signature colour precision and comfort.

Optical Design Contest at SILMO 2025

Optical Design Contest And the finalists are…

From September 26 to 29, SILMO Paris — “the place to be, to see & to foresee” — will bring together the entire optics and eyewear industry at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre.

Among the highlights of the show is the Optical Design Contest. A true springboard for tomorrow’s talents, this contest offers design students from around the world the opportunity to push the boundaries of innovation and explore the endless possibilities of design in the world of optics. This year, the contest challenges participants to create bold and visionary frames on the theme: “Superhero Glasses.” These designs must go beyond mere corrective function to become instruments of transformation, empowerment, and reinvention of vision and the world.

Presided over by Michel Penneman, a renowned international designer and interior architect, the Optical Design Contest highlights

the potential for eyewear to become much more than a simple accessory: a true technology, a source of power, a gateway to new perceptions.

Take a preview look at the nominees here Optical Design Contest 2025, the finalists!

Join us at SILMO Paris on the Optical Design Contest stand — the 2025 winner will be announced on Friday, September 26. Until then, discover the finalists!
