Specsavers named as one of UK’s best places to work
Specsavers has been ranked as 23rd in the top 50 Best WorkplacesTM in the UK.
This is the first time Specsavers has taken part in the Great Place to Work survey; a global benchmark which recognises top organisations by gathering feedback from employees on their experiences.
Certification is achieved when at least 65% of employees report a consistently positive experience in feedback gathered by Great Place to Work – a global authority on workplace culture. In the UK, 78% of employees said that Specsavers is a great place to work.
Colleagues said the opportunities offered to develop and grow as well as the culture and level of care for employees were the main reasons for rating the business so highly.
CEO John Perkins says: ‘I am delighted that during our first year of taking part in the UK’s Great Place to Work® survey, Specsavers has been recognised among the best workplaces in the country. I’m particularly proud, and humbled, given that the achievement is only made possible by the hard work of our people and the feedback they’ve shared about their experiences of working here. Our ranking among so many other brilliant organisations on this list continues to drive our ambition in making life at Specsavers truly special.’
Specsavers has been certified as a Great Place to Work in 12 countries and is ranked the 12th Best WorkplaceTM in Europe.
