THE 3D PRINTED RINGS WITH SIDE SHIELDS
Ørgreen’s latest innovation is the integration of a 3D ring within the rim of the eyeglass frame, adding a unique aesthetic element with beautiful color detailing from the front and a dynamic visual experience as the frame is turned.
A side shield also manifests, adding depth and dimension to the frame, showcasing the full potential of 3D printing technology in eyewear design, as seen in the Aries, Leo Minor and Ursa Major models.
Call it “functional aesthetic” as it adds both visual appeal and functional benefits. Some opticians have in fact found that this allows them to provide their clients with larger lenses in smaller, more slender frames, a sleek and stylish look without the bulk of thick lenses.
Leo Minor RX 3D Ring
brings a fresh perspective to eyewear with its signature architectural eye shape and sharply defined angles. The frame introduces astriking texture contrast, combining a precious metal finish with a 3D-printed
element made from PA12 material. Two models showcase the versatility of this design: Model 1382 features a new color blend of Antique Gold and Coffee Brown, while Model 1326 offers a Matt Deep Space Blue metal finish, paired with a matching tone-on-tone color ring.
