Opchat News completes it’s Media Partnership for 2026

Opchat News Completes Successful Media Partnership at Optometry Tomorrow 2026

Opchat News has completed its role as sole media partner for Optometry Tomorrow 2026, following a successful two-day event at Harrogate Convention Centre that brought together hundreds of eye care professionals from across the UK.

Hosted by The College of Optometrists, Optometry Tomorrow 2026 marked a clear step forward in the planning, presentation and scale of the College’s flagship event. Delegates attended two days of education, professional development, networking and exhibition activity, with the programme reflecting the growing need for collaboration across the optical and wider eye care sectors.

The event, held on 14 and 15 June in Harrogate, delivered a strong mix of clinical learning, expert-led discussion and supplier engagement. For exhibitors, the increased momentum around the show created a valuable opportunity to meet practitioners, showcase innovation and contribute directly to conversations about the future direction of UK optometry.

For Opchat News, the partnership also provided important insight into how media support can help professional events extend their reach before, during and after the conference itself. Feedback gathered from exhibitors and delegates will now be reviewed with the PR and exhibition teams, with the aim of strengthening future editions and helping Optometry Tomorrow develop into an even larger and more influential meeting point for the profession.

Opchat News will take many positive experiences and practical lessons from Harrogate into its forthcoming international and UK media partnerships, including SILMO Paris 2026, taking place from 25 to 28 September, and 100% Optical 2027 at ExCeL London from 27 February to 1 March.

As the profession looks ahead, the success of Optometry Tomorrow 2026 demonstrates that there is clear appetite for high-quality education, networking and exhibition opportunities. With greater awareness now established, more exhibitors are likely to recognise the value of being part of the next Optometry Tomorrow, helping to create an even stronger platform for innovation, instrumentation, services and professional connection.
