McDermott completes the Thames Path Mighty Hike and reached £1700+

A grand total so far reached of £1732 for the Macmillan Cancer Support Charity 

Ian McDermott supporting Macmillan in joining his daughters on Thames Path Mighty Hike has now completed the task and reached just £1720 of pledges.

Ian McDermott, a well known and respected member of the Contact Lens Industry and past president of the ACLM was “persuaded” by his two daughters to attempt the Thames Path Mighty Hike, which took place on 15th July, .

“Having been “persuaded” by my two loving daughters to accompany them in the Thames Path Mighty Hike, I am now amazed and very grateful to have reached a pledge total of £1732.

“We Did It!!  Exhausted by the end, aching feet and legs, but we got there. What a beautiful scenic walk with a very well organised events team from MacMillan.

I want to shout out a massive thank you to everyone that donated to our team effort, and you will be pleased to know that my current running total is £1732
