Essilor takes pole on vision with new quiz
As official partner of the legendary endurance race, 24 hours of Le Mans on 11-12 June, Essilor has launched a new driving quiz to promote optimal vision on the road.
The interactive quiz takes users through a series of questions based on what vehicle they drive and driving habits to produce a personalised solution to improve 24-hour vision and road safety.
Tim Precious, managing director at Essilor Ltd said: “The quiz aims to educate drivers that there are many ways eyesight can influence their safety and the safety of other road users, and it will be a powerful tool to help drive consumers into their local optician.
“After completing the quiz, users receive a personalised vision solution which will include some simple watch points that can influence vision on the road, and they’ll be encouraged to use the optician finder to take this along to a local practice to have their eyes examined and discuss options.”
A communication kit is available for ECPs including social media, drive-to-store, and in-store assets to engage consumers during the run up to the event.
For the second year in a row, Essilor has partnered with the United Nations, Federation Internationale de l’Automobile and Michelin to help improve road safety. Working with renowned international institutions allows Essilor to collaborate and innovate ways to diagnose eye conditions and correct the vision of road users effectively.
