COLOURSCAPE | Blackfin 2022 Campaign

Blackfin presents COLOURSCAPE, the 2022 communication campaign, a new chapter in the story of the brand’s growth and maturity. In COLOURSCAPE, colour is a representation of knowledge, awareness and determination. Colour is an expression of feelings and moods, but it is also a personal statement, what each of us can show without compromise. But above all, it is what brings to life the new Blackfin eyewear collection where titanium is accented by vivid tones and bright shades.

In the images taken by Giovanni De Sandre’s Studio GDS, COLOURSCAPE highlights the contrast between the whiteness of the location, a marble quarry, and the chromatic brilliance of the panels present in the shots, whose colours recall the dominant shades of the glasses.

A familiar but at the same time impersonal place where the models move with elegance in a continuum with the surrounding environment.

The location also has a much more intimate meaning connecting it to Blackfin. The quarry is a physical space where marble is worked, but it is also a place of memory, of a story written by men who for millennia have transformed raw stone into something aesthetically pure with sacrifice and skill.

Colourscape from BlackfinThe same craft and dedication are poured into the creation of the Blackfin collections, encapsulating the technical skill and artistic vocation of generations of men and women who, with their passion, have turned production into an art.

But the analogy is also in the material, due to the profound connection between marble and titanium. Both are products of natural origin that convey a sense of concreteness and solidity.

A work of art is created from a single block of marble, a pair of glasses is forged from a single titanium plate. And while the marble works have handed down Italian excellence for centuries, the Blackfin collections take the beauty of the most authentic Made in Italy around the world.
