Giona Riccetti is the new General Manager for UKI Professional Solutions at EssilorLuxottica.

In this role, Giona will lead cross functional, cross category teams to drive and implement EssilorLuxottica’s strategy.

He will focus on creating long-term value for partners and ultimately drive better patient outcomes, stronger differentiation and new growth opportunities for independent opticians in the UK and Ireland.

Having spent 15 years with the company across different roles and regions, Giona brings a deep understanding of the sector. Throughout his career, he has championed customer-focused innovation and transformation, building strong relationships and delivering sustainable, win-win solutions for partners and the business.

The business has also strengthened its leadership team with three senior appointments: Alan Pitcher as Key Account Director, UKI; Damien Klevge as Wearables Director, Northern Europe; and Richard Davies as iECP Sales Director, UKI.
