Registration opens for eye health conference in China
Eye care professionals have been invited to register for a conference that is being held for the first time in China.
BCLA Asia, organised by the British Contact Lens Association in conjunction with the West China International Myopia Control and Eye Care Symposium, will cover topics including myopia control, dry eye management, contact lens care and specialty lenses.
The in-person event takes place on March 8 and 9, 2024, at Chengdu New Exhibition International Conference Center, and will feature latest research and clinical guidance, ‘hands on’ opportunities to try out industry-leading products, and the chance to hear about recent innovations and future strategies.
BCLA chief executive Luke Stevens-Burt said: “We’re delighted to be hosting this event in China for the first time and looking forward to delivering an engaging and relevant programme that covers some of the most important topics in our field.
“The conference is an opportunity to continue the growth of the eye health industry in the region and enhance delegates’ knowledge and skills to benefit eye health.
“Along with the sharing of best practice, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with colleagues and the wider contact lens and anterior eye community.”
Sessions will be in both English and Chinese to ensure both Eastern and Western audiences are catered for.
BCLA Asia delegates can apply for BCLA Fellowship – submissions close on November 30.
