RAY-BAN I META Smart Glasses ‘LIVE ALL IN’

Enhanced functionality and expanded product line for thriving in every situation

Meta Platforms, Inc. and EssilorLuxottica continue to redefine the future of wearable technology with the announcement of new software features, updates to Meta AI, a more diverse product assortment and a special limited-edition, offering users an unparalleled blend of style, functionality, and connectivity.
Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are getting smarter. We started testing multimodal AI updates in December 2023, which helps you understand the world around you by interpreting what you’re seeing as well as what you’re asking. Starting today, we’re rolling out Meta AI with Vision functionality out to all Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses in the US and Canada in beta version.

For example, using the built-in camera, you can ask Meta AI for help writing a caption for a photo taken during a hike. The glasses can also translate text on a sign or help you identify an object like an exotic fruit. This means Ray-Ban I Meta smart glasses are even more helpful throughout your day.

Introducing a new software feature: video calling, which gives consumers the ability to share their view on a video call with WhatsApp and Messenger. A simple double-press of the capture button during your call will switch to the camera on the glasses. Video calling on Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses is rolling out gradually across countries, so if you don’t see the update right away, sit tight—it’s on the way!

“The breakneck pace of innovation means that we are in a different place today than we were even yesterday. Consumers are already used to the idea that tech can be worn and woven seamlessly into their lives. Now they’re asking, can it make me smarter? more creative? more productive?” said Rocco Basilico. “Ray-Ban Meta, particularly with the addition of Meta AI with Vision, is a bold leap forward in terms of what it can do for the person who wears them. We’re delivering the next generation of superpowers, and we’ve tucked them neatly into the world’s favorite glasses.”
