Optoversity challenge set for 27 February online

Optoversity Challenge – the exciting time for optometry students to test their knowledge against peers throughout the UK –

University teams will be competing in first, second and third year categories with a broad range of questions. Headline sponsor for the Out of the Box Optics event is No7 Contact Lenses and specialist lenses will be an important part of the quiz questions

Katie Harrop,(left)  No7 Professional Services Director, explained –

“We are committed to practitioner education and as well as being first to market in several key product categories, No7, with the EyeDream brand, are the UK’s leading Ortho-k supplier

“Optoversity Challenge is a great chance for students to learn, do good and have some fun! At No7, we appreciate the importance of supporting future generations of eye care practitioners; in fact, we have launched a website to do just that – www.student.no7contactlenses.com. What Out of the Box Optics does to help students is fantastic – we fully support them!”

Other businesses supporting the fundraising event for Vision Care for Homeless People with prizes and sponsorship are Alcon, Booth & Bruce, Haag Streit, Heine, Ibis Vision, Keeler, Lenstec, Millmead, Norville, Scope, Theapharma, Tokai, Wolf Eyewear, the AOP and College of Optometrists.  Other optical businesses are being encouraged to join the event with more student prizes needed
