Professor Mo Jalie to host webinar 16th May

ESSILORLUXOTTICA Hosts ECP TRAINING PROGRAMME for VARILUX® XR SERIES™

EssilorLuxottica is running a series of online seminars for eye care professionals on its latest lens innovation, Varilux® XR series™.

These will be hosted on the company’s learning platform, Leonardo, and are designed to give ECPs a deeper understanding of the new lens.

An initial one-hour session will run on 16 May around binocular performance, led by industry expert Professor Mo Jalie and professional relations manager, Dr Andy Hepworth, worth two CPD points. Followed by a full training programme for the new lens commencing on 30 May.

TRAINING PROGRAMME:

Explore binocular vision with Dr Andy Hepworth and Professor Mo Jalie on the Spectacle lens binocular performance session running on 16 May. This interactive session will look at how visual needs in a modern world continue to change, and how to meet the needs of today’s presbyopes.

Varilux® Lenses: Innovation and expertise history on 30 May looks at how the Varilux brand has never stopped reinventing itself to meet the needs of wearers and will review the history of Varilux lens innovations.
Varilux® XR Series™: The first eye-responsive lens on 31 May will show ECPs why the lens can be considered revolutionary and reveal its core technology, XR-motion™.
Discover how personalisation, patient journey, and measurements bring extra comfort to wearers with the Varilux® XR Series™: Go beyond with personalisation session on 1 June.
The Science behind Varilux® XR Series™ lens on 2 June takes a deep-dive into its scientific innovation and how XR-motion™ technology meets the needs of today’s presbyopes.
