With sad regrets we must announce the passing of Colin Croft on Tuesday 15th March.

Apparently since discovering a serious liver condition last year he became further ill since Christmas.

Colin was the perfect gentlemen in his dealing with his customers, considerate in every way and always giving the very best of service. So much so you thought you were his only customers.

In optics people will remember him at Maui Jim and in the much earlier days at Contactasol and later Coopervision.

“I will remember our time working together at Eastern Region Optical Supplies (EROS UK) and great times and fun at the Optrafair Shows.” says Bob Hutchinson (Editor)

The funeral will be on 25th March at 1.00pm at St. Mary’s Church, High Street Mildenhall IP28 7EE
