MOVITRA appoints new international sales director

MOVITRA appoints Andrea D’Arrigo as international sales director with immediate effect

The appointment represents an important step for the Milan-based eyewear company in the expansion of the brand.

In 2008, he started his journey in Barcelona with Cutler and Gross, overseeing sales in Spain and Portugal. One year later, he opened his own company, 1 Alternativa, managing distribution for some of the best brands in the market including Dita, Italia Independent, Thom Browne and Thierry Lasry.

He moved to the US in 2012, where he launched an expansion of the Thierry Lasry collections and less than a year later he was offered the position of US Sales Director for Dita and Thom Browne.

Five years on, he was then presented with his next adventure: starting the business for the now stellar brand, Jacques Marie Mage across the Midwest (US), Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and Mexico. In 2020, D’Arrigo joined Akoni Group to develop and build the US sales team.
