Looking forward to spreading the word about The Dry Eye Revolution

The Body Doctor Ltd has appointed Emma Meeres as Marketing Manager and she took up her new role at the eye care company on March 4, having previously worked for PPG Architectural Coatings for over five years.

Emma said: “I’m so excited to be working with The Body Doctor. They are a motivated and talented team of individuals who are constantly striving for more and more success, which I cannot wait to be a part of.

“As Marketing Manager, I’ll be working to spread the word about the innovative products, the Dry Eye Revolution and generally helping people think better, feel better and live better. The Body Doctor has a great company ethos which is what really attracted me to the role and they have not disappointed in making me feel very welcome already.”

The Dry Eye Revolution was launched at 100% Optical last month and is a powerhouse of knowledge, guidance and expertise to help practices become a fully functional dry eye clinic within 30 days. As part of the launch, The Body Doctor Ltd has teamed up with Advanced Ophthalmic Systems (AOS), with the AOS software helping practitioners better manage their dry eye and contact lens patients.

As part of the Dry Eye Revolution, practices receive a free three-month trial subscription to the software which allows for objective grading of the anterior segment, image enhancement, live video calling between the practitioner and the patient, reporting and access to a remote visual acuity system.

AOS gives practices clear digital imagery which can be used within appointments to help educate patients and track their progress. Additional tools and features are provided in the software to enable better image analytics and to provide the best functionality from a non-digital slit lamp and the AOS apps. Other features include a community WhatsApp group, point-of-sale materials, digital assets for social media and a designated key account manager to ensure ongoing support.

The Body Doctor Ltd recently announced another new partnership with MacuHealth Ltd and became its exclusive distributor in the UK which saw the launch of the innovative MacuPrime and ReMind supplement brands into the market at 100% Optical.

MacuPrime is the only eye supplement that can be backed by over 15 clinical trials. ReMind, a first of its kind supplement, has been shown to have positive effects on the quality of life of Alzheimer’s patients.
