Explanation on postponement of 100% Optical to 23-25 April 2022.

Explanation on postponement of 100% Optical to 23-25 April 2022.

Nathan Garnett the 100% Show Director explains why it was necessary to postpone the January Event this year.

“100% Optical is the UK’s only major trade show for the sector and is a fun packed, lively and educational 3 days. If we had been gathering on the weekend as originally planned, the amount of absenteeism and illness caused by Omicron would have meant the first gathering in two years would not have had the impact we all wished for. Whilst the NHS is still dealing with this current wave it would also have been inappropriate to proceed.”
“We wanted to thank you for your patience, as well as thanking all of our partners and exhibitors with the adjustments we have all had to make.”
“As we looked to spring, I am sure we all feel that better times lay ahead. We are now looking forward to 100% Optical in April and using the extra time afforded to us to add in even more content and value to delegates. I am sure that our amazing exhibitors will also use the time to finely tune their exhibition stands and experience for everyone as well. It also gives new visitors the time to plan their visit, book appointments with suppliers and colleagues as well as book seminars and CPD – all for free. “

If you have not registered yet, now would be a great time to do so, so we can keep you up to date with activities and events over the next few weeks.

100% Optical will be the first major optical event in Europe in 2022 and will undoubtedly be the best event in the UK for decades. Although we’ve had to wait 2 years 3 months, it will certainly be worth the wait.
