CooperVision confirmed as BCLA platinum sponsor
The BCLA has confirmed that contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has agreed to be the Association’s platinum sponsor for the next 12 months.
The company will support BCLA activities throughout the year and will see CooperVision benefit from advertising opportunities across BCLA events and platforms, including webinars, podcasts and digital learning programmes.
BCLA chief executive Luke Stevens-Burt said: “We are delighted to once again be able to count on the support of CooperVision – a leading name in the eyecare industry and a company that is continuing to blaze a trail in innovation around contact lenses and the anterior eye.
“Their backing is fundamental to the work we do in showcasing the latest in contact lens research and education, leading to enhanced knowledge for eye care professionals and improved patient outcomes.
“We look forward to our continued partnership with CooperVision throughout the next 12 months. The impact and reach of our work is far greater through collaboration. BCLA sponsorship opportunities remain available for other brands and manufacturers who wish to help shape the research and education of eyecare professionals.”
Christina Olner, CooperVision Head of Professional Affairs UK and Ireland, said: “CooperVision is delighted, once again, to support the ongoing work of the BCLA. Our partnership over the past several years has delivered wonderful opportunities to collaborate with academics and colleagues across the industry. We look forward to the next year, and all the advancements that can be made through this partnership.”
