Complete care for all contact lenses is now available 

Positive Impact has officially launched Cleadew, a complete range of advanced, CE-marked contact lens care solutions for all contact lens types.

Cleadew’s Japanese manufacturer, Ophtecs, has pioneered harnessing the potent efficacy of povidone-iodine (PVP-I) for the safe and effective care of contact lenses. PVP-I displays high disinfecting efficacy against bacteria, viruses and acanthamoeba, while still ensuring safety for the corneal epithelium.

Cleadew Soft, SL and GP are patented PVP-I-based systems for all soft lenses, including silicone hydrogel, as well as scleral and RGP lenses. Cleadew GP is ideally suited to the cleaning and disinfection challenges of ortho-K lenses.

The new solutions are some of the first in Europe to already be fully compliant with the forthcoming regulatory changes in the form of the Medical Device Regulations.
