Blackfin introduces the new rimless AERO WIRE family
After the launch of the line last Spring, Blackfin now introduces the new Aero WIRE family of frames where design purity and functionality combine in an all-new way.
Each Blackfin Aero style is made from a 0.7 mm thin sheet of beta titanium for the bridge and 0.5 mm for the temples, ensuring flexibility and comfort, as well as frame stability.
Aero Hayle and Aero Fishbourn are among the latest styles where the evolution of the classic three-piece gets a contemporary update. The titanium wire wraps around the edge of the lens, defining a slender double-bridge and then stops where it meets the nylon wire.
The palette of contrasting colors plays up the ultra-lightweight structure informed by a futuristic vibe that fashions frames with a bold architectural look. The effect is heightened by the new patented lens fastener, drawn directly from the end pieces, allowing the protrusion to become a distinctive, minimalist detail.
Blackfin Aero eyewear come with two different bridge concepts ‒ one geometric, with bolder, angular shapes and one retro, more refined and supple.
They are both fitted with a new version of the more streamlined TILT PAD nose pads, better suited to the aesthetics and weight of the frame, as well as the adjustable Swordfish temple tips.
