BCLA Council: Nominations close on Friday 26th April!
For BCLA Members
The British Contact Lens Association are looking for committed and passionate members to put themselves forward to represent their peers on our Council. We would welcome nominations from:
- Optometrists (including newly qualified professionals)
- Contact Lens Opticians
- Ophthalmologists
- Technical areas of the profession/industry
- Industry
BCLA Council represent the Association’s members who are from a multi-disciplinary profession and industry covering all sectors relating to contact lenses and anterior eye health.
To apply for a position on BCLA Council you must be nominated and seconded by those who are full BCLA members (when you enter their details on the nomination form they will receive an email to confirm their support for you)
• You will need to submit a 250 word supporting document as to why you wish to be considered for council and incorporate all relevant information
• No previous experience is required, but knowledge of governance, CPD, educational development etc will be advantageous.
Voting will take place electronically during May. Successful candidates will be admitted at the AGM on 5 June 2024.
