ACLM Welcomes Luke Stevens-Burt as New Secretary General

The Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers (ACLM) announces the appointment of Luke Stevens-Burt as its new Secretary General. Luke Stevens-Burt, former CEO at the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA), brings extensive experience in leadership, strategy development, and stakeholder engagement.
At the BCLA, Luke Stevens-Burt led key initiatives including membership development programs, governance reforms, and education activities, resulting in growth and increased organisational reach. His expertise in external relations and advocacy is demonstrated through his relationship management and establishment of the BCLA CLEAR™ research brand.
Stevens-Burt holds a BSc (Hons) in Systems Thinking and English Language and is a Fellow of the Society Association and Membership Professionals (FSAMP). He has a proven track record of overseeing stakeholder engagement and successfully implementing activities and projects that have produced positive results in organisational development and strategy setting. His recent experience illustrates a proven track record of overseeing stakeholder engagement/management and workforce development across a range of professions/sectors.
Stevens-Burt’s appointment marks a milestone for the ACLM, promising continued growth and success for the association. Stevens-Burt role starts the role in June on a part-time basis.
