3DNA Technology Ltd. announces the release of a new desktop-based hinge setting machine for use with production of acetate eyewear.

The new machine has a compact form factor which can fit on a benchtop or production floor.

Dual axis tilt table adjusts the machine for different wrap angle and pantoscopic tilts.

The machine has digital adjustment for temperature and press-and-release time. A laser crosshair sight is included for accurate hinge placement. Button controlled action is supplemented by a footswitch for ease of operation.

Compressed air-cooled finishing stage completes each hinge setting cycle in a matter of seconds. Suitable for bespoke frame makers, small-batch and mass-producers of acetate eyewear or those seeking a precise way to repair broken frames with melt-in hinges..
