2024 GOS (Scotland) Mandatory Training for Optometrists/OMPs

As part of The National Health Service (General Ophthalmic Services) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2018, there is an annual requirement for all Optometrists and OMPs working under GOS in Scotland to satisfactorily complete a small element of mandatory training, provided by NES.

The 2024 Mandatory Training e-learning resource “Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in Optometric Practice”, aims to raise awareness of the expectations around equality, diversity and inclusion in a healthcare setting: by highlighting the relevant legislation and considering potential areas of improvement in our practices.

Reminder to optometrists to log in and undertake their 2024 mandatory GOS training.
