A new innovative education programme has been launched for the UK’s largest optical trade show.

The three-day event, to be held 25-27 February 2023 at London’s ExCeL Centre, will host an array of educational and networking opportunities delivered by the Association of Optometrists (AOP), as the event’s official education partner. Delegates will have access to a wide range of education, hundreds of exhibitors and thought-provoking talks from world-renowned speakers.

Back by popular demand, the Future Practice hosts four rooms dedicated to delivering industry leading CPD content including a range of discussion workshops and peer review sessions on topics spanning optometry, dispensing and ophthalmology.

Dr Ian Beasley, AOP Head of Education, said: “We are looking forwarding to welcoming past and new delegates to the show – now in its ninth year. 100% Optical is a unique event focussed on delivering an innovative programme of education designed by the AOP to keep delegates up to date on emerging areas of clinical practice.

“With around 140 CPD sessions on offer across 11 different hubs, practitioners of all modes of practice have access to a range of education to help them meet the GOC’s requirements as we enter the second year of the CPD cycle. AOP members can also earn additional CPD points in the exclusive AOP lounge, which hosts a range of expert speakers, delivering workshops, lectures, and debates.

The first phase of the programme has now released. Further sessions will be announced in November and December.
