read on, the Swiss reading glasses design company is pleased to announce that they will exhibit their new innovative product line, read on light for the first time at Silmo in September. Thanks to an exciting first launch at Mido in 2024, read on light is becoming known as a highly functional, super sleek and stylish reading glasses product – with a thickness of just 3mm!

“We are hugely excited to show our new sleek, high-quality reading glasses, ‘read on light’ at Silmo this year,” says Monika Fink, Co-Founder of read on. “Now that we have begun to establish our distribution network in Europe, we are in the exciting position of being able to supply more and more customers in mainland Europe as well as further afield. Our US distribution is also up and running via Amazon so that we can successfully deliver to optical retailers in North America with ease.”

‘read on light’ frames have been developed by Sandra Kaufmann and Monika Fink, the Swiss-based design duo behind Sol Sol Ito eyewear. Created in TR90, the shape of the frame has been conceived to fit all faces while the colours are bright and uplifting to ensure the product feels modern and ultimately “a real pleasure to wear!” read on light readers are available in 4 strengths: +1.0 / +1.5 / +2.0 / +2.5. The colour range includes red, black, yellow, turquoise, jade and purple.
