OSA spring meeting to address HR and Employment issues

The OSA’s spring meeting on 26 March will address HR and employment issues faced by optical businesses, with specialist advice and the opportunity to discuss industry-specific challenges.

The London meeting – to be held at Friends House, Euston – is a great opportunity for networking and hearing more about what is happening in the wider optical supply chain.

Guest speakers from HR Solutions, the partner-organisation which is provided as an OSA member benefit, will be on hand to promote their member service.

Other speakers at the event include colleagues from ABDO promoting their national resource centre as a conference and training venue.

There will also be a full report on the OSA/ABDO/ College of Optometrists’ children’s vision research which has recently been conducted with the giant social media platform, Mumsnet.

Myopia management is a major aspect for OSA in the year ahead and any businesses operating in this field are urged to attend.

Following on closely from 100% Optical, there will be an opportunity to discuss the business and educational opportunities presented by the annual event, with suggestions welcome for 2026’s programme.
