New Chair at the Optometry Schools Council

Council Announces New Chair 

The OSC has announced the election of its new Chair. Professor Joy Myint (University of Hertfordshire) will start her 3 year term on 1st October 2022 taking over from Will Holmes of The University of Manchester.

Commenting on her new role Prof Myint said ‘ I hope to carry on the excellent work that Will has achieved during his time as Chair. With the new GOC Education and Training Requirements, the role of the OSC remains an important and pivotal one’
