New agency for Ørgreen in UK market

Ørgreen is excited to announce a significant new appointment in the UK market from the beginning of 2024, welcoming Jóhann Filippusson as the new agent for Ørgreen Optics.

Having worked as an independent agent in the United Kingdom for the last 12 years, and previously as an optician for 10 years following his studies, Jóhann brings a wealth of experience to the role. “I fell in love with the eyewear market and was drawn to working closer to the creative side of the industry. Moving into a brand was a natural progression for me, as I love introducing exciting products to the market,” explains Jóhann.

His extensive experience, combined with his passion for the eyewear industry, makes him an exciting addition to the Ørgreen Optics team. He will be representing the brand in the UK together with Fahmidah Davey. “I am really excited about this next chapter in my life with Ørgreen Optics and look forward to nurturing ongoing relationships, as well as building new ones,” he says.
