This webinar will allow participants to differentiate between the main clinical subtypes of dry eye and blepharitis — including anterior, posterior, rosacea-related, Demodex, and menopause-associated forms, using clinical signs and diagnostic tools and apply a stepwise, phenotype-driven management strategy combining lid hygiene, anti-inflammatory therapy, and advanced in-office treatments such as IPL, LipiFlow®, BlephEx®, and low-level red-light therapy (LLLT).
It will also evaluate the role of systemic and lifestyle factors—particularly diet, hormonal status, and rosacea—in the chronicity and recurrence of dry eye disease and promote patient-centred counselling on anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle modifications alongside in-office therapies to improve long-term outcomes.
Optometrists will receive 1 CPD point for attending this webinar.
