CooperVision’s Virtual Perspectives Returns with Engaging New Format

World-renowned Speakers Discuss Latest Thinking on Hot Topics in Contact Lens Science and Education

Contact lens manufacturer, CooperVision, will release its first one-hour Virtual Perspectives CPD event, ‘Virtual Perspectives with Phil & Lyndon’ on Wednesday 24th April at 7pm BST.

This year, the highly regarded learning event will take the exciting new format of a scientific talk show, hosted by renowned professors, Philip Morgan and Lyndon Jones, with appearances from international guest speakers from within the industry.

With four one-hour online events planned across the year, each providing the opportunity to earn one CPD point, the show’s new format will enable more eye care professionals to take advantage of these learning opportunities.

Kicking off the schedule on Wednesday 24th April, Philip Morgan and Lyndon Jones will be joined by special guests: Siofra Harrington, Optometrist, Lecturer & Researcher, TU Dublin; Winfred Thijssen, Owner, Oogzorg Thijssen Optiek; and Dr. Dominique Bremond-Gignac, Professor of Ophthalmology at University Hospital Necker Enfants-malades and Paris V Rene Descartes Sorbonne Paris Cité University, who will be discussing myopia management and sharing valuable insights to help assist eye care professionals in their treatment of patients with the condition.

In subsequent episodes, viewers can expect discussions to cover: a successful lifetime of wear; presbyopia; and the challenge of improving new contact lens wearers’ lives.

Eye care professionals with questions on these hot topics have the exclusive opportunity to send them in by completing the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XY775Y7

Samantha Watson, Professional Affairs Consultant at CooperVision, commented: “We’re really excited for the launch of our brand new and improved Virtual Perspectives learning event and we can’t wait to hear what delegates think of the new format. We’re confident that eye care professionals will get a lot of value from the episodes, with insights from Philip Morgan and Lyndon Jones, as well as the guest speakers we have lined up to contribute.”

‘Virtual Perspectives with Phil & Lyndon’ will be accessible via CooperVision’s well-established Learning Academy™ and the first episode is open for registration here:
