Who we are
Sight Service is the leading local charity working with people who are visually impaired across Gateshead, South Tyneside, North Tyneside and Newcastle.
Our mission is to enable visually impaired people to enjoy the quality of life other people take for granted and help them lead full and independent lives.
It is our aim to :
- Promote eye health to prevent sight loss
- Reduce the impact of sight loss, and
- Provide support for people with sight loss
