SightCare records strong member satisfaction in 2026 survey

SightCare has recorded a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of +50 in its latest Member Survey, alongside 97% of respondents saying they are likely or very likely to renew their membership.

The 2026 survey, carried out independently by TideShift Insights & Coaching, explored members’ experience of SightCare, the support they value and the challenges facing independent optical practices.

The results showed strong levels of member advocacy, with SightCare achieving an NPS of +50. Net Promoter Score is a widely used measure of customer loyalty based on how likely customers are to recommend an organisation to others.

The findings also highlighted the importance of community and connection, with members placing particular value on the network of fellow independents, opportunities to share experiences and advice, and the peer support available.

As one member commented: “SightCare has a great network of independents who are always ready to help others.” Another summed up the value of belonging to the community more simply: “It would be too lonely without you!”

SightCare CEO Emma Rawlings said: “We are delighted to see such positive results, particularly the strength of our Net Promoter Score and the proportion of members who tell us they are likely to renew.

“But just as important as those headline figures is understanding why members value SightCare and where we can continue to make a difference. While practical business support remains a vital part of what we offer, the survey has reinforced just how important that sense of belonging is to our members.”

“It’s something we’ve always valued at SightCare, and something we want to continue nurturing as our community grows.”

The survey forms part of SightCare’s ongoing work to understand the needs of independent optical practices and ensure its membership offer continues to provide relevant, practical support.

Emma added: “We are enormously grateful to everyone who took the time to share their views. We have listened carefully to the feedback and it will help inform our priorities as we look ahead to the coming year.”

The 2026 Member Survey was conducted on SightCare’s behalf by independent research specialists TideShift Insights & Coaching.
