Blackfin presents the new Blackfin One line of eyewear for the Spring-Summer 2022 season. Fashioned, as always, from titanium, with updated style signatures, emblematic of the brand’s more intimate and unique spirit. Sculpted shapes, fresh new colors and meticulous workmanship in the optical styles highlight, once again, the true craftsmanship skills of this trendsetting company in eyewear design.

The new Blackfin One frames feature an interplay of bi-level structures, gradient or fluo colors and geometric lines that reinterpret traditional eyewear shapes. Myrtle and Wells, for example, are two pantos-inspired styles: urbane and elegant, Myrtle features blue/sky blue or purple/lilac gradient rims; the geometric Wells plays with contrasting two-tone fluo in shades of electric blue, red and green.

Taking back color is a distinctive hallmark of the entire Blackfin collection.  Color is now used boldly, thanks to the superior technical skills that ensure special, very complex processes for excellent color rendering on titanium. Wilmington is a generously sized men’s frame with distinct geometric lines; Maces Bay, on the other hand, is a more feminine frame with a slightly elongated top rim. Predominant in both are the subtle shading of contrasting or tone-on-tone colors, as is also seen in Boston, a classic men’s shape in the brown antiqued-effect version.

Lastly, Compton is an authentic return to the origins: clear rectangular lenses, high bridge and vivid – red, lime or green – colors along the edges contrast with the black or grey frame.

All of the styles in the Blackfin One line – hypoallergenic, 100% bio-compatible and nickel-free – come with Tilting nosepads in medical-grade PVC and adjustable, ergonomically designed Swordfish temple tips.
