Newmedica Worcester surgeon marks 3,000 cataract surgeries without PCR complication

Newmedica Worcester consultant ophthalmologist Waleed Tantawy has completed 3,000 cataract surgeries without a posterior capsule rupture (PCR), highlighting his expertise in patient care.

The achievement highlights the expertise, consistency and clinical standards that support safe cataract surgery for patients referred into Newmedica Worcester, which also provides a range of NHS and private ophthalmology care and treatment.
