Grafton Optical Launches OS1000 X Automatic Dry Eye Analyser & Corneal Topographer
See it at at 100% Optical 2026

Grafton Optical is pleased to announce the UK launch of the OS1000 X Automatic Dry Eye Analyser + Corneal Topographer from SBM Sistemi, a fully automated diagnostic platform combining advanced corneal topography with comprehensive ocular surface and dry eye analysis.
The OS1000 X will be available for live demonstrations on Grafton Optical stand K41 at 100% Optical 2026, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience the system’s automated workflow and extensive diagnostic capabilities first-hand.
Designed to streamline clinical workflow while delivering objective, repeatable results, OS1000 X integrates Placido-disk corneal topography with a complete dry eye diagnostic suite, enabling clinicians to assess corneal shape, tear film stability, meibomian gland health and dry eye subtype within a single platform.
A key feature of the OS1000 X is its fully automated acquisition process, with automatic eye detection, autofocus and guided examination protocols requiring minimal operator input. This supports consistent data capture, efficient delegation and improved repeatability in busy practice environments. You position the patient – the rest is automatic.

The dry eye suite is TFOS DEWS III-aligned, incorporating non-invasive break-up time (NIBUT), tear film interferometry, tear meniscus height measurement, advanced meibography – including 3D and transillumination imaging – blink analysis and ocular redness classification. Together, these tools support accurate dry eye classification and evidence-based treatment planning.
Throughout the exhibition, delegates are invited to book SBM Sistemi Dry Eye Essentials demonstration sessions on the Grafton Optical stand, providing a guided overview of OS1000 X and its role in modern dry eye management and enhanced clinical services.
Sessions can be pre-booked online at www.graftonoptical.com/book-online.
Alternatively, delegates may contact Grafton Optical directly to arrange demonstrations at alternative times.
Commenting on the launch, Grafton Optical CEO David Thickens said: “Dry eye disease continues to play an increasingly significant role in clinical practice. OS1000 X offers a powerful combination of automation, objective diagnostics and patientfriendly reporting, enabling practices to enhance dry eye services while maintaining efficient workflow.”
The launch of OS1000 X further strengthens Grafton Optical’s Dry Eye Essentials portfolio, providing practices with advanced diagnostic tools supported by comprehensive UK & Ireland sales, training and aftersales support.
