Success means CPD webinar initiative is extended

 The Body Doctor Ltd is celebrating the success of its free CPD webinars for practitioners which have proved so popular that the company has now put them on YouTube and is extending the education initiative. The webinar, ‘Signs Before Symptoms,’ was released in April with ‘Demodex – Friend of Foe?’ released in June.

The Body Doctor Ltd, which created The Eye Doctor range of compresses, eye drops and eyelid wipes and supplies the MacuPrime and ReMind supplements, is bringing together key optician leaders in the profession for future guest webinars throughout the year.

The Yorkshire company has already worked with guest speakers such as Professor John Nolan, Founder and Director of the Nutrition Research Centre Ireland, for a webinar in April and has also provided exclusive webinars for Bayfields Opticians in April and SightCare in June.

Two more webinars are now being planned, ‘Pre-Surgery Dry Eye Management,’ for September with Purvi Thomson, lead optometrist at the state-of-the art London clinic, OCL Vision and ‘Breaking the Vicious Inflammation Cycle’ for November.

Explaining the webinars initiative, the company’s Sales and Marketing Director, Sam Wymer, said: “Here at The Body Doctor, we are keen to encourage a culture of learning and professional excellence, helping the profession to deliver the highest quality outcomes in practice.

“Thanks to our Learning and Development Manager, Ros Mussa, we’ve been able to build a series of free CPD webinars this year and plan to build up more opportunities in the future, with a range of different speakers to empower our customers to excel in their work further.”
