ECP promotion to win a “trip of a lifetime” to Marrakech

Independent Essilor Experts can earn virtual points in a new promotion to win places at an event in Marrakech, Morocco, in March 2024.

EssilorLuxottica’s promotion runs from 1st July to 30th November 2023 and ECPs can earn points on lens orders and, for the first time, Essilor instruments and Luxottica frame brands, meaning more points are up for grabs to help secure a place on the trip.

Alan Pitcher, commercial director for wholesale lenses said: “The strength of our combined business means we can better support ECPs, and to celebrate the positive combination of our brands, we are launching this fantastic EssilorLuxottica promotion for independents, and a chance to win the trip of a lifetime.

“It’s never been easier to collect points with our portfolio of products, including our most recently launched Varilux® XR series™, which is being supported by our biggest ever marketing campaign for Varilux® to date to drive awareness and footfall in practice.”

The Marrakech event takes place from 3rd – 7th March 2024, with one half day business meeting and a mix of activities, excursions, and free time. The lucky ECPs who secure a place will get the chance to experience some of the rich history, unique culture, and soak up the sites or barter for bargains in the bustling marketplaces.

There are 110 places up for grabs in total and six ways to qualify.

• The top 10 practices with the highest points accumulation will win two places.
• The top 10 practices with the highest Varilux & Eyezen personalised points will win two places.
• The top 10 practices with the highest frames points accumulation will win two places.
• The top 5 practices with the highest Transitions points accumulation will win two places.
• The top 5 with the highest points on Eyezen and Stellest will win two places.
• 15 practices with the highest points accumulation overall will receive one place.
