BiB Ophthalmic Instruments have invested in a “Patent and Licencing Agreement” with the American based BlephEx LLC for an undisclosed sum.

Blephex is a professional in-office solution that completely removes the biofilm and demodex from the eye structure and lid margins and is an essential first line treatment for blepharitis and dry eye disease.  Tim Baker CEO of BIB commented “this is fantastic news for Optometric and Ophthalmology based dry eye clinics and patients alike throughout the UK and Northern Ireland.

The new agreement will allow BlephEx to reach a much wider and needed audience”.
