ABDO Head of Communications and IT steps down from role

The Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) has announced that Antonia Chitty is leaving her position as Head of Communications and IT.

CEO, Alistair Bridge, commented, “I am sorry that Antonia has decided to step down. She has made a substantial contribution to both ABDO and ABDO College, for the last six years as Head of Communications and IT, and previously, for nine years in a freelance capacity.

“Antonia has really enhanced our communication and engagement with members, and with stakeholders more generally. She has also led ABDO’s work on sustainability and in the process, highlighted the importance of this issue across the optical sector. I would like to thank Antonia for all her hard work and commitment and wish her all the best for the future.”
